D-TEC trailers have a story - one that dates back to 1959, when Jan van Vlastuin established a stove-makers in Maarsbergen. As time passed, Van Vlastuin began focusing on construction work. He developed and produced customised metal components. In 1978, the company invested in the development of new semi-finished products, such as those used in car transporters. After that, Van Vlastuin began to supply more and more to the transport sector. Steady growth meant that more space was required and during the eighties the company relocated to Kesteren. The first patented Combitrailers® were manufactured several years later. A subsidiary was set up to launch this unique transport solution on the market: D-TEC. Since then, the name D-TEC has become a household name in the market. The innovative transport solutions that D-TEC provides are the result of years of experience, research and development.
